Shed

The shed is sprouting up like a mushroom! The builders reckon the roof should be on by Friday. It's bigger than I imagined it would be which is probably a good thing considering the cottage is so small.

In other news, the interior gib-board has arrived on site so hopefully that will go up in the next few days.

The shed construction got under way today - woohoo! We've had such wet weather lately but hopefully with some fine weather forecast for the rest of the week the build will go quickly.

Submersible Pump

Chris spent the weekend (between rain showers) getting the submersible bore pump connected and down the hole, ready to be wired up by the electrician. Here are some pictures of the process.

The electrician should be here during the week to wire it up, and then we should have running water - woohoo!
