The shed build is complete. The roller doors were installed yesterday so we now have a lockable shed. Its absolutely awesome. We still have to complete the drainage and get final sign off but we should be able to start lining it soon, and installing lights and other such exciting things.
The cottage is progressing nicely. The painters have been painting the exterior (when the weather allows) but should hopefully get a bit done as we have a few fine days forecast.
The pipes/plumbing behind the vanity have now been moved to make room for the recessed bathroom cupboard. All the gib board is now up and the gibstopper is due to begin today.

Gib board is up
Most of the internal gib board is up on the walls in the cottage. It looks like a wee house now!

Shed nearing completion
The shed build is nearly complete. The guttering and spouting went on today, as well as the flashing around the edges. All that's left now is the roller doors and personal access doors and its all ready to go. We are planning to put lights in it, and also to line it so we can hang tools and things on the walls but those things are on the 'to-do' list.
The builders started to put the Gib board up in the cottage. The ceilings are all done. The walls should be started tomorrow.

Running water
Another major milestone was reached today - running water. The electrician came out to connect the pump to the power and we were in business.
We shifted the horses to fresh pasture and Chris harrowed the paddock. We finished just in time too as the temperature plummeted as the fog bank rolled back in. It was very eerie!

The shed has a roof
The shed is nearly complete. The light made it a bit tricky to get some photos as the sun (yes sun!) was setting. Next to go on is the last of the flashing and bracing, and then the guttering. Awesome.
The cottage has its first coat of paint. It looks quite yellow in the setting sunlight, but it is actually more grey than it appears in the photos.
