It's hard to believe but exactly one year ago to the day this is what it looked like:
In other news, Chris and the neighbour Ron have made an admirable start in clearing the fallen trees brought down in last week's storm. The good news is the damage to the fence isn't as bad as we first thought. There is only one snapped post and a handful of rails, all of which are easily repaired.
Mack had a haircut last Monday. He was getting too sweaty with me trying to ride him after work so off came the hair! He was really very good about it all, given that he's a bit of a sensitive soul. A bit of food bribery worked wonders and having his mate Javago here who doesn't care about a thing definitely helped.
