Planting trees

Chris and I had a big day out at Waterford Estate yesterday. Chris had ordered 40 betula maximowicziana (Monarch birch) trees from Appleton's Nursery which arrived last week. A you can see had a very productive day.

We also shifted the horses to a fresh paddock and harrowed where they'd just come out of. They showed their appreciation by galloping around the new paddock like loonies doing very impressive sliding stops. So much for new grass!
