The driveway is now complete! The contractors came back to level out some uneven spots, and also finish the small piece up to where the cottage will be. I haven't seen it yet, having been at my first PAS (Professional Accounting School) workshop this Friday/Saturday, but from Chris' accounts they have done a good job in finishing it off. They still have to come back and fill in the rather large hole, but will do so at a later stage I imagine.
Chris also hedge-trimmed the barberry hedge down the driveway to try and keep it in better order than has been.
