We have power

The power was connected to R2D2 the meter box today. It's a huge step forward as now we can take a kettle for a cuppa in the wilderness. It's almost civilized really.

The giant hole was filled in a couple of weeks ago but I kept forgetting to take the camera out. It's hard to believe there was a gaping chasm there once.

Our ElectroBraid fencing arrived during the week. Amazing how excited one can get over 4 unassuming cardboard boxes. Now we just have to put it up but good things take time...

Today we went to see the builders and chose our house. Although we've had the floor-plan finalised for a while today was all about the interior and exterior look. We chose exterior colours, roof colour, windows including stained glass detail, door handles, and bathroom fixtures and fittings. After all of that, we met with the kitchen designer to get some ideas about the kitchen design. They are going to come up with a few different designs that we can choose from. It will be good to see some drawings and 3D designs as I am hopeless at visualisation. We have yet to choose interior colours and finalise the kitchen design so I our homework is to trawl the internet and magazines for some inspiration. All in all, a very successful day.
