Electrobraid

We spent the morning shopping for lights for the cottage today. We managed to sort out our kitchen and bathroom spotlights, as well as some cool outdoor lanterns for the outside of the house. However, the ceiling lights in the bedrooms, kitchen and dining room are still a work in progress. We couldn't find anything that really tickled our fancy so we will have to try again another day.

We arrived out at the block just after lunch. First on the agenda was shifting the cows as their 'help' was definitely not required. Once they were safely out of the way, we set to work putting up the first lot of Electrobraid. It went up relatively easily and is is certainly much easier than dealing with a tangled mess of wire! Here are some pics of the day's achievements.

While we were there the concrete man came out and did some measuring of the cottage pad. He said they'd be out first thing tomorrow morning to pour the concrete for the pad so I'll duck out after work tomorrow and take some pics. Watch this space!
