Troughs and Gates

Chris has been super-productive this weekend. He took Friday off paid work to do lifestyle block work while I was cooped up inside stressing about my big PAS workshop. The troughs were delivered on Friday. After a wee hiccup with the wrong troughs being delivered, the right ones eventually showed up and were put into position.

Chris  finished off the second entrance gate. We decided it was a good idea to be able to separate the driveway from the rest of the property in case horses need to be loaded and unloaded in front of the shed at any stage.

Next on the never-ending list of things to do was to carry on with the fencing. With the post-hole borer finally fixed, Chris was able to put in the posts for the gates down the east end of the property. He said it was amazing how easy it was with a fully-functional borer. Funny that. He also put up frames over the water troughs as they will be half in one paddock and half in the other. It's all starting to take shape!
